ABSTRACT
Our paper discusses a new location discovered for Geastrum lageniforme in Poland, in Las Natoliński
Nature Reserve. It provides characteristics of discovered fruitbodies and a description of the habitat in which
they were encountered. The location described in the paper is currently the only one of Geastrum lageniforme
known in Poland. The species is presently considered to be critically endangered with extinction.
