Revenue Sources & Business Model
The Polish Journal of Environmental Studies (PJOES) is a self-funded, Open Access journal. Its operations are financed solely through Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid by authors, their institutions, or research funders upon the acceptance of a manuscript.
These revenue sources cover the costs of the publishing process, including peer-review management, software hosting, professional editing, and permanent archiving.
Editorial Independence: > "HARD" Publishing Company s.c. maintains a strict separation between its financial management and the editorial decision-making process. The payment of APCs or the eligibility for waivers has no influence on the editorial assessment or the final decision regarding the acceptance of any manuscript. All articles are evaluated solely on their scientific merit and relevance to the journal's scope.
