ABSTRACT
The course of 20-year studies on health condition of the population of Płock and neighbourhood has been discussed as regards environmental pollution generated by refinery-petrochemical plant. Analysis of the environmental factors and general principles of health promoting phenomena were of particular concern. Increase of options of environmental factors evaluation in the studies on health condition of the population inhabiting ecologically polluted area has been demonstrated
