ABSTRACT
Our work shows that active masses modified with manganese that are used to remove Mn(II) and Fe(II)
can also remove the heavy metals Pb and Cd. The study was conducted for solutions with a concentration of
cation 100 mg/L and demonstrated the high correlation between hydroxo-complexs and their potential, and the
process of removing investigated metals (Pb and Cd).
