ABSTRACT
Our work is aimed at a multifaceted analysis of the present floristic composition of meadow assemblages
in the upper Płonia River Valley and at comparing it with historical data. Special attention was paid to the disappearance
of the species typical of the Molinio-Arrhenatheretea class, and the causes underlying the transformations
observed.
